A Citizens Guide to their
Rights and Duties

Those of us who are fortunate enough to be Citizens of the United States of America and of the State of Utah should understand the history of both American and Utah.

In each case, their inhabitants left the oppressions of their former states and societies, and formed a newer, more perfect society. We inherit their hard work, dedication and love for freedom. Every citizen of the United States of America and Utah owe a debt of gratitude to those who came before us. We also owe our undying vigilance to ensure that the principles they have bestowed on their posterity are never corrupted, compromised or destroyed.

We do this by becoming active in the roll set aside for the average citizen. We, The People are the Fourth Branch of Government.

Many do not realize the awesome power and responsibility that every citizen holds. You have the power to elect and remove from power those who are oath and duty bound to uphold the very principles that precious blood has bought.

You have the power to restore constitutional law as a juror. Your vote can nullify bad laws. You can undo years of bad legislation with one vote. MORE HERE.

You can start initiative petitions, asking other citizens to assist you and others like you, to make real legal change. You can overturn bad laws. You can create a good law.

You can be a delegate in your preferred political party.

You can run for political office. If you get elected, you can begin the process of making real change as legislation.

You can do so many things, but none of them will be possible unless you are a registered voter. It is so simple and takes 3 minutes of your time.
