Every citizen of the United
States of America has a right and a duty to vote. Every citizen is
responsible for the present and future of America. It is through our
votes that "we, the people", act as the fourth branch of government
in a Constitutional Republic.
Remember, our government
gets it power and authority from the consent of the governed. Every
citizen is responsible to elect candidates who will support, defend
and obey the Constitutions of Utah and the United States of America.
In order to support, defend
and obey the Constitutions, every elected official must recognize
that they are not our leaders, but servants of the Constitution.
They work for the people to run the government in accordance to the
rules of operation. Those rules are the Constitutions.
As voters, all eligible
Americans must actively participate not only in the voting booth,
but also as a fully informed juror in a
Grand Jury or a Criminal Jury .
As a juror, you get to be a
citizen check and balance against those who should have checked and
balanced before you (the elected public servant).
As a citizen that exercises
his duty and right at the voting booth and the jury, you can help
those we elect in the checks and balance process.
A vote for me is a vote for
a public servant who will support, defend and obey the
Constitutions.
